exactly! by a UD or split. Floyd fans are bragging Floyd can stop pac thats why I posted this question. There is no way Floyd Potshot KO pac like he did hatton
Pac is aggressive, therefore, he'll give Floyd more opportunity to hit him with counters, but seeing as Pac isn't prone to getting tired and he couldn't knock out an aggressive Hatton until the last few rounds, it's not likely.
1. Mayweathers speed. When Manny comes in, sometimes he can get caught. And when Mayweather punches, he punches with speed and accuracy. Add to the fact that he'd be landing with the double impact, it's easy to assume he could hurt Pacquiao.
2. Manny has a good, but not very GREAT chin. Cotto DID wobble/stun him. Marquez hurt him a few times and even Morales got his respect at a lower weight. Lately, people are so weary of his offense, they don't commit to the punches. Mayweather is willing to commit, because he thinks his incredible defense will hold up. And often times, it will in the fight.
3. Mayweather is probably an even better and definitely bigger version of Marquez. And when Marquez frustrated Manny, he usually hurt him. Mayweather does have the skills to potentially hurt Manny.
the *******s in this thread are incredible
mayweather potshotted his way too titles in 5 weightclasses?
its called adapting too your opponent which mayweather does second too none, can manny adapt and not leave himself open too the right hand over and over again? of course he cant, that is the after-effect of his offence
Yeah, Mayweather is 40-0 because of his power and not because of the combination of his accuracy, counterpunching, footwork, head movement, overall defense, and patience, it was his power that got him through 5 weight classes undefeated.
No, he's 40-0 because he's never faced a worthy challenger. Rugged man said it best. I can face 20 girls and be undefeated. You ain't gonna lose unless you take a risk/challenge.

this made sense. but u gotta see that Pac is not the same fighter that fought marquez 3 years ago. hes much improved and his chin is tested in ww division. the only chance i can see pac getting KDd is if Floyd connected with a stiff lunging right.

He's not the same fighter. But, Mayweather is still better than Marquez in the ways needed to frustrate Pacquiao. So, for the many ways that manny improved, Mayweather is still a better version of Juan Manuel. Almost making it like he's an improved Marquez. Not to mention he's faster, confident, better defensively and is a bigger guy than Marquez.
Manny can and probably will be hurt in his fight with Mayweather. Doesn't mean he'll win or lose, for that matter.
