Castillo was pretty good at it, and Chavez was fantastic, but on the whole, you won't find too many. More guys are taking the Margarito/Rios/Hatton approach of blitzing their opponents and not worrying about what's coming back. But if they have the chin for it, what's to stop them?
Are guys like manny really a "swarmer"? He never really had an inside game. Mike Tyson didn't either, but people also call him a swarmer. Is it the overwhelming quality or doing their best work on the inside that makes a swarmer?

It's funny, Manny showed some pretty skilled inside work for the first time in his career against Margarito...when he was retreating the whole fight. A little ironic that he finally abandons swarming and only then learns how to fight on the inside. But if you think about it, it's the volume and pressure that makes a swarmer - the true, Castillo/Chavez style inside fighter is only a certain kind. And I forgot about Johnson. He's a very skilled swarmer. He has to be, he's got slow(ish) hands and isn't a big, one-punch knockout puncher (unless he's fighting Roy Jones hahaha). He's just tough as tree roots and cagey.
