when you win the first fight so convincinly like Castillo did, and then get robbed, its hard to muster up the same kind of motivation. Whereas Floyd in the 2nd fight had an extra spring in his step and an extra yard because he knew he had a lucky escape in the first fight. Probably thinking he lost but still got the decision he probably felt invincible and that the judges like what he does no matter what.

Castillo didnt do as well in the 2nd fight, because even if Castillo won again, what was to sstop the judges giving the decision to floyd again? With all that against you, Castillo was never going to do as well in the 2nd fight.

Just like Floyd cant muster the energy to fight Pac, because he knows if he beats Pac, Pac is still a higher ATG.

I had Castillo in the first fight 114-112. Floyd should get a lot of respect for the giving the man an immediate rematch though. I though Floyd was afraid to lose? Why did he grant an immediate rematch to a guy that a lot of people thought he lost to?

On the contrary, Floyd was happy Castillo gave him a rematch to avenge the loss to Castillo. Floyd was thinking he lost the first fight, but is greatful Castillo gave him a rematch to avenge his only loss.

Just becuse he won the rematch, that doesnt mean **** to the first fight, these are two seperate fights... so regarding the rematch whippty ****ing dooo pat the kid on his back...
But fight 1, its clear he was given a gift.
