  • Who has the better resume, De La Hoya or Hopkins?

Since 1 guy says we should count losses on resume and not just purely wins.

    How do you see it?

Now keep in mind we are strictly talking resume. Accomplishments have nothing to do with resume, completely different category on how you judge a fighter. With that said it is DLH.

You do count losses. In B-hop's case all his losses were close, why not count them?

I count losses, I count the condition of the fighter when they fought. Resumes are not simple. I hold a loss to a prime elite fighter in higher standings than a win over a shot faded future hofmer any day.

Oscar's wins over Hernandez, Chavez, Whitaker and Trinidad is better than Hopkins' entire resume.

Let's not forget, Oscar lost to a cheater twice in Mosley, as well.

Of course since Hops set the record at MW he will be ranked higher, though.

Ike Quartey beat him as well as Whitaker and Strum....

20 title defenses, total unification of all major belts in the mw div.
            Destroying and dominating Felix trinidad..
Dominating Tarver, Dominating Pavlik, dominating Pascal twice....

B-hop has a better resume for sure

Beating Hernandez, Chavez, Whitaker, Trinidad is certainly better than Tarver, Trinidad, Pavlik, Pascal

But I agree Oscar did lose to Sturm. No shame in challenging yourself though in one weight class too many, something Hopkins has failed at.
