His sources didn't say 750,000 buys. His sources said somewhere around 850,000-875,000 buys. Considering they didn't promote that fight and considering it was a Showtime fight, and considering it was Robert Guerrero, I don't doubt that it only did 850. After this fight, Mayweather will end up averaging 1.3 to 1.4 million ppvs per fight this year as his average, which is in line. One dud, and one blockbuster.

Canelo - 1.8 - 2 million
Guerrero - 850,000
Cotto - 1.5 million
Ortiz - 1.2 million
Mosley - 1.4 million
Marquez - 1 million
Hatton - 900,000
Oscar - 2.4 million

That's over 11 million buys in his last 7 fights for a 1.57 million ppv buy average. Only Tyson could compare to this, followed by Oscar, then Manny...in that order.
