Any one got any good Carlos Monzon stories?

In Fraser Scott's book "Weigh In" he claims that Monzon's goons threatened him before the fight and told him to not go past 2 rounds.

I dont think monzon would need people threating his opponents, but u never know, is that book worth reading? am also on the look out for a book on monzon.

That book wasn't too bad. It may not be in print any more.

Agree that Monzon didn't need to threaten any opponent. But the betters wanted to make sure he won in a specific round--so could be true.

Don't know of any books on Monzon. The book I wrote with Colleen about Joe Gans has plenty about fixed fights, if you're interested in that.
