All of these guys were at their best when Whitaker fought them.
Then you have:
McGirt - p4p ranked fighter by ring magazine
Vazquez- undefeated champion who went on to beay Winky Wright
Rivera x 2 - undefeated champion at the time

whitaker, dude fought real prime fighters, now days is about the fight with less risk n more money, back then it was to see who was the best, i think floyd is or was more skilled, but whitaker fought some of the best around his time win or lose

Mosley
De La Hoya

Cotto
Hatton

All 6 of them are not sure shot hall of famers. Boxigscene writers don't even have Hatton on there.
Plus, you have to look at when Floyd fought:
Mosley. - long overdue
De la Hoya - long overdue
Cotto - long overdue
Hatton - undefeated but struggled heavily with Collazo
And its not Floyds fault they didn't happen. But I'm not getting into arguments about wht fights didn't happen. They just didn't.
And yes he fought Mosley was ranked #3 after the margarito w. But that's not the Mosley that Oscar fought in their first matchup. Plus what have Mosley and Margarito done since then?
You can't just look at two sheets of paper and count statistics. I'm posting all this shyt so you can look at what's behind the numbers.
