      Ali fought 49 out of his 61 bouts against boxers that were rated in the top 10 at one time or another (winning 44 times) and 37 of them were rated when he fought them (winning 32 times). That is a % of 80.3 and 60.6557%.

        In his era yes he probably has the strongest resume with so many top 10 ranked wins

        But things were much different back then

                Ken Norton was 6'3 210+
                George Foreman was 6'4 220+

                  Liston, Frazier, Norton, and would not have been cruisetweights in any era. Neither would Lyle, Bugne and any others.

                  And before you say anything else about Frazier,
                  he used to train down from as high as 230 pounds to his fighting weight. Far from a cruserweight.
