let me start off by saying that I love the British, so there's added incentive for you guys to answer my questions

I noticed that when some users post, their username is presented in a special font or color. How do users make that happen?

Also, I noticed that with some users' posts, there are messages that accompany their usernames, but are displayed directly under the usernames. How do posters make that happen?
