I think Cotto always had the better jab between the two. I would also say that JMM isnt too far ahead of Cotto in the timing department. JMM neutralized Pacs speed. Cotto neutralized Mosley and Judahs speed. I think they are very close. I can see someone going either way.

prime cotto would never lose to a freddie norwood or chris john.

the only reason he lost those fights was because he was an unpopular nobody. he clearly won both on my scorecard and i think most people would agree.

Marquez has a very good jab but Cotto's jab is elite. And I think speed may be too close to call. Both are excellent at timing opponents. But Marquez is a better boxer, much more cerebral, has better stamina and takes a better punch.
