Now, even with Tygart's reasons, USADA decided to block out a certain time, whether there is an agreement or none. Regarding what Tygart said about testing anytime, the reporter mentioned concerning the blood test, did Tygart said anything about blood testing anytime. He just said testing anytime, which they they did but it was only urine. Did Tygart did not mention that there was no agreement on a final date of blood test but to be fair he didn't say also if there is agreement. But according to story, USADA confirmed the last blood test dates as part of their agreement.
OST was brought into play cuz they believed urine does not catch all and blood testing is more accurate. Then why would USADA risk of stopping blood test 18 days before the fight if urine does not detect PED's.
During negotiations on the Pac-Mayweather fight, both were squabbling
about a cut off date but you didn't hear USADA saying they don't do a cut off date agreement concerning blood test. Now that Pac agreed to PBF's 14 day, now they are saying they can test anytime they want.
