Now all these boxers who come out of these ghettos in america immediately want 30million guarantee for their first real fight or else no fight.
Thank you for that very racist and completely inaccurate assessment.

This applies to literally ZERO Black fighters and guys like your guy Canelo and Amir Khan are the only ones I see ducking competition.

It's frankly never gonna be that big in the US again until an american KO artist with an all out style becomes the face of boxing.
Now, this is the truth. There is no sport in America that would survive if it was only seen on HBO/Showtime and PPV.

They know that. The only people still whining about Mayweather/Pacquiao are the people who wanted Manny to be their savior and knock out the ****y, arrogant, rich Black guy they all hate.

Anybody who's ever watched a Floyd Mayweather fight knew how it was going to go and it went EXACTLY as it would have 6 years ago.

Yes, Floyd had to take "correction fluid" to be the best defensive fighter of his generation.

it takes a lot of steroids to not get hit and never knock anyone out.

Many of us have watched boxing for years and are kind of stuck with it and keep watching hoping that things will get better. But any rational person can see that boxing is absolutely horrible and pointless at this point.
C'mon now. We get good matchups sometimes.

There are lots of issues with boxing, the biggest one is the puzzyfication of boxing, the boring safety-first styles. Excessive clinching/holding without actually in-fighting and RUNNING is damaging boxing. Those issues have to be dealt with someway or boxing will continue to stagnate and alienate many fan bases.

The May-Pac Farce Of The Century, obviously.

Boxing is starting to pick itself up though. Can't wait for Santa Cruz-Frampton, Postol-Crawford, GGG-Canelo, Ward-Kovalev, Gonzalez-Cuadras, Thurman-Porter, Loma vs any of the top guys at 130 etc etc...

plus we just had Salido-Vargas a couple weeks ago, that'll probably win FOTY

The future of boxing looks great from here.

Fighters not fighting.., and not fighting competitive fights..

No one ever capitalizes on a big win....

                  Danny beats lucas
                  Andrade wins a belt
                  Walters ko donaire
                  Stevenson beats dawson
                  Brook beats Porter
                  Etc
                  Etc
Then these guys take cherrypicks or are inactive..
Look at a young leonard, Oscar, chavez, cotto, manny etc... They stayed busy and built off big wins, now guys go in reverse and look for some phantom payday that never materializes.

Ufc is always making the best fights available,, boxing does not.. That's the biggest problem

The whole canelo-GGG, "we don't **** around" stuff is pure garbage.. "I need fights to get use to 160, but my next fight will be at 154". Pathetic crap and only hardcore fanboys approve, most casual fans will just not care and continue to watch mma..

There is a reason why every major mma organization has a TV deal, and boxing has none and has to pay to be on tv

Boxing nowadays is just about watching how some people make their living. Big wins lead to fighting a long list of cab drivers, keep them getting employed. Thurman vs Porter. Big effing deal. He should have fought Brook, who beat Porter.
