Hopefully this fight happens this summer. I'm actually looking forward to this more than any fight in 2010. Gamboa has been improving every fight but still has holes in his defense. JuanMa's career looked flawless up until he met Rogers Mtagwa. January 23rd HBO will host a double header where Gamboa will face Mtagwa to see how he fairs and Lopez makes his featherweight debut against Steven Luevano for Luevano's WBO title. If everything goes according to plan Lopez and Gamboa should square off this summer. I've always had Gamboa winning but some people got me thinking maybe Lopez has this one.

I think the likely hood of them fighting each other later this year is very very high. I think them fighting on the same card later this month is a kind of setup for a fight for them later this year.

While I like this matchup I still really want to see JuanMa vs Cellestino.

I doubt Arum would do that. I hear Caballero is moving to featherweight?
