2012 “Fighter of the Year” Nonito “The Filipino Flash” is looking good as he steps up training at the famed ALA Gym in Cebu in preparation for his title fight against WBA/IBO champion Simpiwe Vetyeka at the Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Macao on May 31.

Nonito’s father/trainer Nonito “Dodong” Donaire Sr. told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard that the four division world champion sparred three rounds on Tuesday with undefeated Cuban Remy Aleye and “looked really good.”

A) Vetyeka is more than a good opponent, he destroyed long time unbeaten champ Chris John. B) Are you going to put up the money for a Rigo-Donaire rematch??? Because HBO is not willing to air Rigo, let alone a rematch of a fight that did not match up to its billing and a subsequent fight that Rigo was booed in. If you have the money, please contact HBO and Arum and let them know you are footing the bill for the event. Perhaps you are unaware but there is a business side to Boxing when it comes to money and profits.

Just wondering who are these guys u ummm Floyd supposed to have ducked. Last report and this report has been proven is a guy who we'll leave his sorry zza name out was offered $40mil & went hiding behind his promoters skirt. But for some reason this guys supporters feel that offer wasn't good enough. Strange thing about that offer is the guy claim to have and we'll just quote him "Take less money to make the fight for the fans". donaire will fight for another title in his 5th weight division and he even said he might still go up. that's crazy. if he wins, he's tied with mayweather. donaire had a bad gameplan against rigo but i think donaire would win in a rematch but probably not at 122

Stupid statements like the above are the result of someone who can't argue a single point I made. Son, try and show where anything I said was incorrect. If you weren't ignorant, you would know that I wrote about Donaire acting like a Prima Dona leading up to the fight, fool. You would also know I was the one who a number of times told people to stop using Rigo's fight before that to indicate that Donaire's left hook would end Rigo because every fight has a different set of dynanics. You would also know that I talked about Rigo's great skillset. If you would like to call me on it, Id love to make you look even dumber than already have because I bookmarked what I wrote about Donaire not automatically being able to end the fight with his hook. And one more thing fool, I gave Rigo great odds to beat Donaire and even described how he could. You are obviously butt hurt because you couldn't dispute a single point I made. Don't let the door hit your hurt butt and hurt it anymore than it already is, on the way out. You are dismissed. Come back when you can actually dispute something some says which will be never. Sorry to torch you with your own gun but you made it too easy to pass up....like free target practice with a stationary object.
