Anyone see the Curtis Woodhouse bout? He lost a split decision to a 23 year old unbeaten fighter in Shane Singleton. Singleton who was 13-0 coming into the bout won because Woodhouse had a point deducted in the final round for hitting on the break (according to boxrec).

Otherwise the fight would have been a draw.

But Singletons opponents before meeting Curtis had a combined record of 82-481-23 & the three blokes he'd stopped had won only ONE fight between them.

So it would be interesting to know what kind of fight it was & was it that close?

I don't think Woodhouse should feel the need to retire off of last nights performance. There should be a rematch.

Hopefully he can secure a rematch. Just read on the main page that Singletons manager wants him to make a quick defence.

Maybe the can put Curtis on that to promote a good rematch.

We'll see how much good getting this decision will do Singleton. He's only 23 & that was the first decent opponent he's faced.
