I thought it was a good fight, thrilling for sure. More so if you going for the under dog for some.
Molina had Kirklands number tonight and the only thing that messed it up was...
1. his corner man coming in once the bell rang and "forgeting" you can only be saved by the bell in the "last round".
2. it's "always" up to the ref to make the "final" decision. So the ref could have just allowed the fight to continue but instead, he made a rookie mistake by asking someone what he should do in a situation like this. Which is really up to him to make the final decision.
Molina was on his way to win the fight. Hoping there is a rematch. But we will have to wait and see.
Anyone who says the fight was borring is someone that was just there to watch Kirkland get a ko and nothing less. Molina fought his fight and made it a good fight and won the fight.
