The guy was a digruntled former employee who killed his former co-worker. Shot the guy 3 times then walked away, saw the cops approaching him and tried to shoot them but they shot him down, 8 bystanders got caught in the exchange but none of them are seriously hurt.

If guns are easily obtained in surrounding states, then there is the likelihood that they can be transported or smuggled across state borders.

The U.S needs blanket gun legislation. There is too much state to state variance for any kind of gun-control to be effective.

We don't know where the gunman got his gun so that's just speculation on your part.
