The UK IMO is one big audio lagoon. While the rest of the world conceive a genre, The UK adapts it and incorporates them not just as music, but a lifestyle and flare, hence the birth of the sub-genres.

Sure The US created Jazz, Bebop, Blues, Hardcore, Metal, etc. Jamaica had Ska/Reggae, but when it arrives in UK shores, they put the "O" in soul.
