At Porsche Arena in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm (35-2, 15KOs) dominated the action in a battle of jabs. Ronald Hearns (26-2, 20KOs) was unable to get past Sturm's guard but landed a few decent jabs that busted open the champion's mouth. In the fifth, Sturm started to come on and Hearns began to fade. Sturm saw his opponent starting to fade out and began to put his punches together. In the seventh, Sturm caught Hearns flush with a bomb and blasted away until the referee jumped in to stop the action at 2:30.

Sturm looked like Abraham with skills. Impressive KO. Hopefully Martinez and Sturm can get it on soon.

          Montiel defended yesterday against Donaire.

Sturm defended yesterday against a blown-up junior middleweight who had never beaten anyone in the top 50 at 154lbs or 160lbs.

That says everything you need to know about the difference between a real champion and a paper one who wears Calvin Klein shorts into the ring

I honestly think Sturm's performance against a legendary name in Hearns is much superior to Donaire.

Sturm is #2 pound 4 pound.

His resume is one of the best in the game.

it was a huge and really great event.

                ....the fight was OK.

Sturm seriously needs to step up now.

Dude you are absolutely crazy. If Ronald Hearns could bust this dudes lip any top fighter would kill him. Ronald Hearns has never beaten a top ten middleweight. Sturm is ducking top fights too, hes a complete bum. He even lost by UD to a fat, out of shape, Oscar De La Hoya... besides that hes fought all tomato cans.

Sturm is one of the greatest MW fighters of all time, I already have him above Hagler, Bernard Hopkins and Monzon
