  • Comments Thread For: Arum Heads Off To Manny Pacquiao's Training Camp

Bob Arum is more the hard-charging dynamo type than he is the thoughtful, contemplative and philosophical sort. Still, in his 79th year of living and in his fifth decade of promoting world championship, I found Uncle Bob to be enthusiastic and pragmatic on the event of yet another long flight from Las Vegas to Manila.

Arum is smart to keep a close eye on his cash cow.

Now THIS is Boxing news... Maybe next week they'll run an article about the restaurants that Arum frequents while he's in Manila... Or the generous tips he leaves the waitresses... Better yet, the texture and color of his poop recently....

Lol, some bitter people in here. Boxing could use more Bob Arums, definately more so than some phoney ass crook like De La Hoya. Oscar's done nothing but make **** fights, **** cards, rape 15 year olds, disgrace the manly sport by getting caught in fishnets like a tranny whore, urge fighters to break contracts with suitcases full of cash like a scumbag mafioso, acuse innocent boxers of using PEDs out of spite and jealousy, and instigate a war between promoters which will keep top fighters from fighting each other for years to come. And the dickhead is not yet forty.

Most of the blatant hatred for Arum comes because he is not only a Jew, but a successful Jew much in the public eye, and also.....let's face it, there's a huge amount of explicit or undercover antisemitism around. Always has been, always will be.

And that shows the poor mental state that many people are in because Jew-hatred is irrational and visceral, with no cause except being a relic of early, medieval, and modern Christianity. One only has to read the Gospels to know this, let alone the writings of the "saints" and "Church Fathers", who, if they were alive today would all be certified as incurable insane.
