Former soccer superstar Schmeichel impressed by Froch. Roots for Kessler.
Former football (soccer) superstar of ManU dane Peter Schmeichel today works as anchor for the network VIASAT that transmits the fight to scandinavia. He has visited Carl Froch's camp and says:
"I'm very impressed by Froch. He's a very nice person and a very dedicated fighter. I have got a good impression of how he prepares for Kessler and Mikkel has to be at his very best to beat the englishman."
Schmeichel continues: "Since I'm danish I root for Mikkel, but since I've spent a large part of my life in England, from where I have great memories, I'm not afraid to say that Froch is a great champion. It'll be a great fight in Herning. The winner might move on to win the supersix."
