He had done nothing at 147 before the Pacquaio fight so I don't see how he had to work so hard to get it.

He didn't clean out his division either. He had a few decent wins at 140 and then jumped straight into a Pacquaio fight. He didn't beat a bunch of killers or have to work particularly hard to get it. Danny Garcia put him to shame with his run at 140.

He got the fight because Top Rank ran out of opponents for Pacquaio.
