The make-up of Great Britain's boxing team for the London 2012 Games was formally confirmed this week as the British Olympic Association rubber-stamped the selection of the 10-strong squad.
They will not need reminding that the last time the Games were held on home soil, a gold medal remained out of reach, with only the respective silvers of John Wright and Don Scott securing some reward for the hosts.
