I regurgitate the fact that Walters is asking for 1 mil because Arum was paying Lomachenko 750K to fight bums. Arum also only paid Rigondeaux 750K to fight Donaire, who was a star. Which suggests Arum has some type of dislike for brothas from the Caribbean. If Lomo can get 750K to fight a nobody, Walters isn't wrong to ask for a mil to fight Loma. Walters is definitely the more exciting of the two.

Seems like HBO viewers don't like them, which means HBO doesn't like them, which means Arum doesn't like them.

      Rigondeaux:

The evening’s main event was literally a walkout – and tune-out – bout. Guillermo Rigondeaux was all but without a dance partner, with Joseph Agbeko refusing to engage at any point over the course of their 12-round snoozer. The fans at the Boardwalk Hall responded, leaving during the bout. Viewers also responded in kind, as the bout aired on the TV screens of 550,000 viewers over the course of the 12-round affair, making it the lowest rated HBO Boxing After Dark main event in its 17-year history.

      Walters:

The main event, Nicholas Walters (who didn’t make weight and was stripped of his featherweight title on Friday), one of the lesser-known fighters to headline an HBO card, outpointed the unknown Miguel Marriaga in a dull fight that drew 588,000 viewers. It is highly unusual for the opening fight to have a larger audience than the main event.

Lomachenko vs Walters should be the co-feature on the crawford-Postol PPv card

In the evening’s co-feature, Vasyl Lomachenko matched a historic mark by winning a major title in his third pro fight. The feat came at the expense of previously unbeaten Gary Russell, taking a well-earned victory in a strangely scored majority decision. Their bout averaged 578,000 viewers over 12 rounds, a number that saw a decline from Lomachenko’s split decision loss to Orlando Salido, which generated 1 million viewers on HBO this past March.

Here's an idea why doesn't Walters just accept the fight?
It's funny, people were saying Loma was ducking this guy and now they are making "excuses" as to why Walters shouldn't go on with the fight.
I don't know why people keep bringing up the 750K Loma made for his last fight. It has nothing to do with this fight and Loma will probably make less against Walters, so what exactly is the problem?
Walters' fans are not happy about something, which is understandable. I'm a Loma fan and I'm not happy with some things. I would prefer for Top Rank to keep Loma more busy, but they aren't.

It's like the Rigo situation. Rigo's team and fans were saying Loma was scared and Loma wouldn't dare fight him and if he did he would get outclassed, whooped and what not. As soon as Loma called his bluff, it was "oh Rigo is too small, how dare Loma call him out" (even though Rigo's team has been talking trash years prior to Loma finally responding) and "Well Rigo should get millions to fight Loma".

I don't know about you guys, but I want to see some good fights.
Why can't we see these guys fight right now. Not when they are past their best.
              Let's see them. Lomachenko-Rigondeaux. Lomachenko-Walters.
Win, Lose or Draw. Let's just see the fights!

Lomachenko/Kosiacha was on HBO. They did 585K viewers. Lomachenko got paid $750K. That's a lot for a boring fighter no one in America cares about. No one cares about Walters either but at least he's exciting.

                    Was talking about Loma-Russell.

No doubt Lomachenko got overpayed by HBO, though to be fair to him those ratings were for an undercard...Rigo and Walters were main events.

Anyway, Lomachenko is willing to fight for what they're offering now...
