    def·a·ma·tion
the act of defaming; false or unjustified injury of the good reputation of another, as by slander or libel; calumny:

The Mayweather Camp and GBP claimed Pacquiao is on PED's and his refusal to adhere to Mayweather's demands proves it. There in lies the slander.

Because the Mayweather Camp and GBP are recognized figures in the world of Boxing, these accusations are serious and dangerous to Pacquiao's image as he, himself, is a recognized public figure.

The problem with the accusations is, there is no evidence whatsoever to support these claims which is why it falls under DEFAMATION.

Whether you agree with the legal definition is irrelevant. We've seen you Floyd fans try to change the definition of words here to fit their own agenda (It never works, but its always fun to watch). A judge has deemed these accusations serious enough to command further arbitration therefore legitimizing this case.

Meaning? Whatever you think you know, whatever you say doesn't mean *****.

Amen... I wonder how in the world these fans can lack such basic common sense..

if the statements of mayweather and his representatives defamed pacquiao to the point where it damaged him monetarily (and it can be proven) he seemed to think that mayweather and his crew were responsible

and could be sued for the difference.

is that about the way it's headed in your eyes?
And do you think it can be proven (or even calculated,) that floyd's slander and defaming of pacquiao led to him losing X amount of dollars?

green k and a donation along the way.

I'd find it very hard to believe Manny has lost any amount of money due to so called drug allegations. I'm sure there are people out there who'd purchase his used toilet paper, some of those idiots you'd find in these very boards posting.

This a waste of time for the justice system, who'll slap every one on the wrist, tell them to be nice, be friends and stop calling Manny names.

This guy, still obsessed with Mayweather and his fans after 3, 4 years. Still making whiny, labored threads about it while the real people take an interest in the sport of boxing.

            What a tool.

it can be proven that pac has lost millions of dollars by preventing pac from fighting floyd or anyone under gbp without extra unnecessary testing.

Lets be honest. Even if the mayweathers suspected pac of peds if they kept it to themselves the testing issue could have been worked out in negotiations and we would have had a fight 2 years ago

That's gonna be hard to prove considering PAC said no to the 14 days in Jan, but then agreed to it in May.

In hindsight, he prevented himself from getting the fight.

But that's just a required contract clause for fighters under a certain banner, it doesn't exactly imply that he is losing money due to defamation. In fact, everyone is losing money for that matter. I think for the argument to be valid he'd have to prove that there are fighters from all banners that aren't willing to fight him due to so called drug use. And that endorsers are cutting him loose or unwilling to sign him to help sell their products. This really is a waste of everyone's time, he needs to do his fighting inside the ring.
