  • Mads Larsen

This is the second best Danish fighter today. His record is 51-2 with 38 ko's. His only losses are a rotten decision against Sven Ottke and a cuts retirement earlier on. He was a super middlew but is now fighting as a light hw it seems.

I haven't really heard anything else about him since his negotiations with Kessler. Whats he been up to these last few months, he got a fight scheduled?

Larsen is still fighting at 168. When he IS fighting that is.

Larsen has this year turned down offers to fight Lucien Bute and I think Karo Murat. Larsen is an enigma and doesn't always seem to have his heart into boxing. At other times he can be brilliant in the ring although that's some years ago.

Larsen turned down Bute because he pursued a Kessler fight which fell through though.

As it is today Larsen likely faces Dimitri Sartison this autumn for the EBU SMW crown vacated by Karo Murat.
