Hello all boxing people,
I need Your advice and maybe experience regarding boxing headguard.
Here is my story.
My first headguard was Twins HGL-3, I have used it for 2 years and cant say anything bad, but finally I got my nose broken in it after one heavy sparring.
As well as, all the straight jabs landed on nose also.
So, I changed it to Paffen-Sport "Star" headguard with Nose Protection (bamper).
Yeah, the nose now is ok, but this guard is a total "blindness". I dont see any uppercots coming, dont feel the rear sides and this f**ing bamper is always in front of my eyes. And yes, because of the bamper stepping forth of the whole face I am very much more "simple for access" from all sides.
So now I need something in the middle of guards above.
I mentioned that some of guards have cheek protectors like "wrapped inside" and the nose is "stepping forth" more, and some have those protectors a bit more straight thus protecting the nose better.
I beleive You guys will have some good advice, would appreciate very much!
