  • Does jabbing and boxing not count against Canelo?

So just looking at a history of his big fights, ALL with disputed score cards. Are we ready to admit the judges have a big bias for Canelo?

    Lets peek the script

    1. Mayweather Vs Canelo, most people saw it as a 12 round sweep, one score card has given him 6 rounds.

    2. Canelo Vs Trout, Canelo seemed to be way ahead and even with the knock down to far ahead.

    3. Canelo Vs Lara, some felt that Lara comfortably out pitches Canelo, Only for Canelo to win in another disputed issue, I personally had it 8-4.

    4. Canelo Vs Khan, some felt that Khan was 4-0 or 5-0 up until the point of the Knockdown, most notably Teddy Atlas.

So it seems that Canelo in immune to jabbing and boxing movement.

    Mayweather Vs Pacquiao
    Trout Vs Cotto
    Maidana Vs Alexander
    same thing different outcome.
And of course hundreds more fights when boxing did count.

Khan absolutely did not win more than 3 rounds against Alvarez. It was 3-2 either way if you have any idea how to score a fight. Khan clearly won the first two rounds, and Alvarez clearly won 4 and 5.

As for the other fights, the sad truth is that Golden Boy has put a lot of effort into making Alvarez a star. They protected their investment in those fights. If they hadn't, Alvarez might have lost to either Trout or Lara.

Millions of people watch and score fights. There will always be" some " that score the fight for the guy they like the most regardless of their fighter getting his ass kicked. The majority of experts and fans had Canelo beating Trout and Lara and winning at least 3 of the first 5 rounds and winning round 6 before he knocked Khan out. The computer punch counter which is neutral had Canelo landing 64 punches to 48 punches landed by Khan. Khan only tied Canelo in one round for punches landed. Canelo landed more punches than Khan in 5 of the 6 rounds and there is no doubt Canelo's punches are much harder. The HBO fight scorer Harold Lederman had Canelo well in front when the fight ended but you conveniently left that fact out. The lady judge who scored the Mayweather -Canelo fight a draw was clearly incompetent but the other two judges had Mayweather winning by a wide margin. The only reason you bring in Atlas to your feeble argument is because Atlas scored against Canelo who you clearly hate and want to discredit. This is the same Atlas who said he had Bradley a clear winner of the first Bradley-Pacquiao fight. Do you agree with Atlas that Bradley won the first Bradley-Pacquiao fight? I agree with you that the judges had Canelo too far ahead of Trout but Canelo still won the fight and Trout admitted he lost. Only a true Canelo hater like you would score the Canelo-Lara fight 8 rounds to 4 for Lara. Did you forget Lara ran away most of the fight. One judge did score the fight for Lara so that judge gave Lara full credit for his good boxing. It was a very close fight but the majority of fans and experts think Canelo edge him out. Your score of 8 rounds to 4 rounds in Lara's favor is ridiculous and bias.

stopped reading there....it's incredible how effective compubox is as a propaganda tool.....there's no "computer", it's two dudes counting punches...

Canelo has the propaganda machine behind him...look at the respect someone like Guerrero got in his fight with Floyd....the dude was able to go skill for skill with Mayweather for 3 rounds before getting tired and it was brushed off....Canelo was swinging at air and outclassed in every round and Showtime couldnt stop talking about how dangerous he was ... that's the only reason he still gets respect by the yank media.....in mexico that shutout by Mayweather made Canelo a joke. Hell, even though I think Canelo clearly beat Cotto, the way the yank media dismisses how many jabs Cotto landed on his way out and finishing his combinations is laughable...it's like....well yeah they're all landing on Canelo, but ginger landed like a really flashy power shot(that didnt hurt the opponent) before going on the defensive for 1 minute, so he wins the round....

Compubox is not a computer. It's two guys pressing a button when they think a punch was thrown, and another one when they think a punch has landed.

It's not only innaccurate, but also corrupt and biased. It's been proven in some rounds of Mayweather-Cotto or Mayweather-Pacquiao that Compubox saw things that were not even remotely close to truth.
