You're right about that, but I don't see the Knicks doing much better because they don't play any defense.

To even be considered Amare has to get the Knicks to at least the #3 seed. That's the lowest ever seed to have an MVP winner IIRC. They can make a push, but I don't see them higher than a 5 seed. At least on paper I don't see them doing better over the course of the season the Celtics, Bulls, and Heat.
