NFL may get rid of extra points

    competition committee is destroying the nfl at such a rapid pace.

    they already destroyed the kick off return which is one of the most exciting and anticipated plays in the nfl. they are making too many changes.

      This is a throwback to the old WFL of the 1970s where TDs counted as 7 and you then had an "action point" where you ran or threw for the extra point.

          If it ain't broke don't fix it. The league has grown to mammoth popularity with the game being what it is, why start meddling with it?

          Since Goodell came in they've been tinkering with the rules too much.

                I agree 100% about kickoffs. It's a great play...who really enjoys a touchback instead of a 100 yard run.....
