  • Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Adviser Not Interested in Algieri, Marquez 5

MANNY Pacquiao’s adviser Michael Koncz has debunked reports that newly crowned World Boxing Organization light welterweight champion Chris Algieri is the likely opponent for the Fighter of the Decade’s scheduled Nov. 22 fight in Macau, while indicating that a fifth fight with Juan Manuel Marquez, was never even considered.

Koncz, who returned to Los Angeles after joining Pacquiao and his family in vacation in Israel, said the Filipino icon, who went on to Italy, had no plans of going to the US as mentioned by Top Rank promoter Bob Arum.

Well done Ronnie, but why didn't you put Pacquiao in a bad light in your articles when he refused stringent testing against Mayweather? Anyways, Pacquiao should let the comission do their jobs, just like they told Mayweather. Or did you forget your stance already?

Anyways, Marquez wants to extend his legacy, after all the "concensus" say that he's only famous because of Pacquiao, so now is the time for Marquez to face other opponents and do just that.
