You're all conspiring against me, I know it.

I voted for Hearns believe it or not.

    No doubt
Yes thank was bad, I always remembered it by spelling wooden Plank and then reversing it, I've no idea why I mixed it up in my head.
It's probably something I've spelled wrong in every exam and no-one has picked up on it.

      MW champion

      Duran, Mugabi, Hearns, Antuofermo, Hamsho

      Hearns > Hagler
Watts, Monroe, Minter, Rolden, Obelmeijas... all world class fighters. Cyclone Hart could bring the pain.

In my book he beat Watts twice and Antuofermo twice. Monroe and Leonard are the only two men who I think genuinely beat him.

And as pointed out above, Hearns was never the lineal world champion except at 154. He won alphabet belts, but lost unification battles.

Hagler was THE middleweight champion, Hearns just collected belts at each weight other than 154.

Cleaning out a division carries more weight for me generally than collecting alphabet belts at a lot of weight classes. Otherwise Pacquiao would be the GOAT.

I'm a far bigger Hearns fan than I am a Hagler fan, but Hagler rates above Hearns by a fair margin.

Hagler, though I like Hearns much better.

Hearns did amazing things and was an amazing fighter. I would rank Hagler higher on the fact he completely dominated a division for many years. Something Hearns really did not do.
