yeah, people can say all they want about how he isn't any good, his opponents arent any good, but one thing about him,he brings ratings and brings people to his fights, martinez doesn't do that, look at the attendance for the barker fight or all of his fights,he fought quality guys and still didn't bring in people, chavez can fight bums and brings thousands, and don't forget something, canelo is fighting that night too, otherwise i think it would have been sold out already

Wonder why there isnt more support from fans in USA. They watch it on TV but they dont wanna go watch a fight live. Maybe they dont like to travel
You're right; partially! First, most good fighters fighting in the US now a days are not from the US (with some exceptions, ofcourse), which makes people from the US less inclined to attend. Second, European countries are a very, very small fraction of what the US is (in size); therefore, it's a lot easier for Europeans to hop on a train, or a car, to check out a game or a fight. And three, boxing simply isn't as big in the US as it once was!

Nobody calls him that but you. If anybody would call him anything close to that it would be, "La vaca de dinero." Not "El dinero de vaca," which literally translates into "the money of cow." We've discussed this already. Get it right pendejo!!

Cant wait to hear the sound of silence after Chavez Jr. Walks into Martinez' powerful hook and goes to sleep. It will be epic !!!!!

A fight like this deserves success. It should be great.

You do realize Germany has a stronger economy atm?

oh and prices for Wlad's next fight in Germany:

Ticket sales start on August 28 on www.eventim.de and via telephone under +49-1805-12 13 14. Prices range from 50 and 80 Euro (upper level), 100 Euro and 150 Euro (lower level) to 250, 400 and 650 Euro for exclusive VIP tickets with a seat in the inner field.

Cheapest ticket is 50 Euro ~ $63 US
                      Most Expensive ~ $817 US

so yea............. but yea im just "talking out of my ass". I dont know why simple minded folks can never admit when their wrong. They will fight tooth and nail despite you and them knowing how wrong they are

Besides, in europe real fans come out to watch fights, in Las Vegas, the majority of tickets are bought out by Casino's who give it to degens who couldnt give a crap about boxing and only go because its the "cool thing to do" that night.

I think Boxing is going to California as Americans best fans and bigger draws in a few years....Californians actually turn out and support the fighters because they wanted to be there and paid the cash for the ticket. Not because they got a ticket for playing 100hr of blackjack
