I forgot how this went down. Was this from a body shot? Regardless Robocop will never be the same after it. He's gonna be gun shy against Terminator. I think Robocop needs to duck it and go with a tuneup like Inspector Gadget

This was already explored in a comic series. The short version is that Skynet sent terminators to protect Robocop because he formed a sort of prototype for a lot of their crap. And he infiltrated Skynet and destroyed it from within, thus averting catastrophe.
