    Look where Roy and Toney are currently at, look at their ages. Now look where B-Hop is at, now look at his age. Bernard is a current world title holder. When was the last time a Roy or Toney had a belt? Like a decade ago.

    Hopkins has a better legacy than both.

          No. If he fought the very best heavyweights he would have lost.It would be hard to top the legacy he already has. He has a better legacy than Jones or Toney. Did Hagler, Monzon, Zale or Robinson hurt their legacies by not going to heavyweight? I don't think so. Toney and Jones only beat fair heavyweights. They could never have beaten the real heavyweight champs. Hopkins holds the record for defenses of the world middleweight title with 20 successful defenses in a row. He holds the record for being the oldest fighter to win a real world title and then broke his own record. He has a great legacy and the best thing he could do now is retire.
