  • Chris Byrd walking down Vitali Klitschko and making him quit

One of the biggest myths about this fight is that Vitali somehow dominated throughout and that Byrd was never in the fight,in truth Byrd was in the fight and was really coming on towards the end of the fight, making Vitali back up and landing the more accurate shots of the two.By the way it was Byrd who was the late replacement in this fight. It was a very good performance from Byrd considering how little time he had to prepare against a prime Vitali.

Vitali is the most overrated HW today. John Ruiz has a better resume than this clown yet somehow he's riding his brother's coattails and a beatdown from Lennox. Whenever you feel down, go on boxrec, look at his record and then remember there are clowns out their who think he's a HOFer.

An they have nerve to call him and ATG heavyweight.

Walked down by a light-puncher with only 10 days notice...not to mention his first fight after getting KTFO.

Wow way to revise history TS, Byrd was never in the fight and had almost nothing to do with the W on his resume after losing nearly every round.

What youre saying is revisionist history if anything,as Klitschko fans would have you believe that Vitali gave Byrd this great beating from start to finish and suddenly developed a shoulder injury out of nowhere.

It was a legitimate tko win for Byrd.

Bigger way to set the record straight to any deluded klit fans is to ask them

How many HOF boxers have any of them beaten?

the answer is usually them calling your a racist or haye nuthugger since they don't want to say 0

Byrd didn't receive a beating so to speak but lost nearly every round, VK had a freak injury or maybe he even had it before the fight who knows?? A guy isn't just going to quit when he is near certain victory with no threat of losing for no reason.

Also its a paper win for Byrd, I am sure its something he doesn't even credit himself with as all he did was be in the right place at the right time and manange not to get KTFO.
