You can pretty much say that RJJ is retired, but, he's still fighting selling concussions and B-Hop is waiting for his rematch w/ Bad Chad.
But, lets just say they both hung up their boxing gloves for good. Who would you rate higher in the ATG rankings ? Please discuss and vote on the poll.
Me personally, I would rank B-Hop higher, unlike other fans who rank RJJr simply basing it on his dominance during the 90's simply doesn't seem right. Everyone has to look at a fighter's entire body of work, not just when they wer up.
I'm more of a RJJr fan by the way, actually, I'm not into B-Hop at all, never was, however, I can't help but admire what he has done this late in his career. It's simply amazing.
RJJr if I recall correctly went on a 50+ win streak before being handed his first professional loss(via DQ). However, after his first KO loss, he never regained his old form, nowhere near it, he was a completely different fighter.
B-Hop on the other hand, wasn't that far off from RJJr stellar career during the 90's and simply got better as he aged. So, overall, I think B-Hop remained consistently good all throughout, he definitely dealt with adversities in the ring much better than RJJr.
