How can I share video files of over 1 gb?

Are there any hosting sites that would let me do this? And if so, will it take a ridiculously long time for the people I send it to to download?

I know I could split the file up, but I'd rather not have to.

piratebay used to have a thing where you could share files via torrent only with who you wanted to but I don't know if you could still do that. I used to privately trade fight dvd's like that.

A good way to split video files is hj-split. It's a free program.


filecloud.io is pretty fast for download but I think they have 1gb limit for non-premium(free).

Upload to youtube and have your friends use a converter to get it onto their computer. It would work if it came to it.
