    Hopkins. Sanchez career was cut short before he reached his full potential. We don't know how he would have done as an older fighter or moved up in weight.

        greater fighter was salvador sanchez by a mile.

        hopkins had the greater career, mainly due to sanchez being dead.

            Sanchez for me, what has hopkins got that can match takeing the unbeaten records of wifredo gomez and nelson? Nothing!

              Agree. Gomez would win titles at 126 and 130 so he was far from weak when he moved up to Feather from Superbantam. Nelson wouldnt even lose until like 7 years later to Pernell Whitaker a top P4P fighter. If those wins are not big he also beat Hall of Famer Danny Red Lopez twice and solid fighters as Nicky Perez, Juan La Porte(would later be Featherweight champ), Castillo, Castananan.

                I'd like to say Sanchez, but it's Hopkins in the books.

                I would have loved to see Sanchez vs Morales, Barrera, Marquez or Pacquiao. All great FW's at some point.
