why are people wanting floyd to sign a contract that they have no idea about?????? they dont know the terms regulations or anything... since when in boxing did u just make up a contract sign it then give it to your opponent with a deadline ive never heard of such madness...

if the so called contract arum gave floyd still has the 14 day cut off would yall still blame floyd?

again, based off reports, GBP & TR have agreed on all terms... no matter what the terms are, they dont need to disclose that to us. for the sake of saving face & reputations, all i care is that the fight is signed... whats best for boxing is a conclusion to this....

lets not act like bob made a contract & put a blindfold on floyd at gunpoint. LOL. GBP is handling ALL of floyds negotiations, floyd just inks it to make it official. so if GBP really agreed to all terms, then we have a fight

GBP is also to blame then if they (along with TR) BOTH agreed to the terms before sending it over to Mayweather for approval. I know people hate on Arum and TR a lot here, and a lot of it is justified-sure, but it's not like Arum and co. just gave Mayweather a wish list for him to agree to. GBP worked on it too. They negotiated, came to an agreement. It was sent to Pac who accepted it, and similarly sent to Mayweather who has been mute about it.. 2 days folks.

Looks like "plan B" could be "plan A" all along....bizarre how we all keep hearing from ARUM and Pac's team in the media that Golden Boy has accepted the contract,but not by Floyd or even Golden Boy themselves...

It seems though,that Floyd was silent with the negotiations with Shane as well and took longer than the public wanted for him to sign the contract when the negotiations finished.

Perhaps all this Cotto and Margarito talk is just a way to generate more intrigue for the Floyd/Manny fight,unless Arum is really going to sabotage negotiations with the largest fight in several years...because I don't know a single person who wants to see Manny/Margarito or Manny/Cotto 2....

Exactly...GPB has indicated that all sides have reached an agreement, read into that what you will.

GPB advocates for Floyd, so if they are saying that an agreement has been reached, then it indicates that many if not all of Floyd's interests have been met, all that is now required is pen to paper, or another excuse.

articles. It seems like Arum just wants to promote the real
fight that is going to happen between Pac and one of his
Top Rank fighters by using the Mayweather negotiations.

Mosley was the #1 Ranked WW, and P4P# 3 in the world. Pac didnt want any part of Shane Mosley who was the actual WW champ and who was ranked higher than Cotto on the P4P List.........GUESS WHAT? Mayweather fought him and humiliated him. Nobody that Pac has fought @147lbs is better than Mosley.

The talk about Pac-Cotto II and Pac-Margarito might just be something to put more pressure on Floyd to sign off on this fight. I can't imagine that Plan B was actually their Plan A all along. Why would you hype up a super fight, just to blue ball everyone and have Pac fight a lesser guy?

One way or the other, they need to announce something. I'm getting sick of waiting.

Then why didnt Freddie Roach and Manny fight Mosley who was the REAL WW champ, after KO'ing Margarito? Cotto had lost to Margarito and came back to win a vacate belt vs Jennings and Team Pac decided to fight him instead of Mosley. Roach said Mosley was too dangerous, they even asked the WW champ to drop down to a 142lb catchweight...lol.....

They could have made more money fighting Mosley and the fight would have been more meaningful by defeating the REAL WW champ and #3 P4P fighter in the world. If Mosley is so old and was gassed vs Mayweather and is a washed up, has been 38 year old fighter why didnt Team Pac fight him?
