We're talking about the supposed 160 beast that can close the gap vs. a 154 recognized defensive fighter that uses footwork around the ring.

How is that not competitive? lol
you are right they paid Monroe big money.

a guy who moves around the ring well vs another guy who cuts of the ring well (and i mean top p4p ring cutter) with brutal body punching will make this fight very noncompetitive but to be sure we'll need to see it.

i don't think it is, everyone always complains that GGG fights no hoppers, a tourney would solidify a competitor and add value to their stock. Super six tourney was great... was different format but still tourneys like these usually make for good entertainment and the victor has his notoriety and stock raised.

We'll see. Monroe won a tournament on ESPN and it gave him exposure and he landed the GGG fight but people gave Golovkin 0 credit for that W.

apparently you weren't following boxing when the Paul Williams bout was a blatant robbery as well as the controversial Alvarez bout...

I'll put it in better perspective for you to show proper respect.

Pac had lost twice by KO and 2 draws and then losing to Morales the first time....clearly Top Rank wouldn't acknowledge the saying for Pac, "that Pac deserves the best..."

GGG should make this fight happen. Lara is a lot better than Wade and is actually willing to fight GGG.

That's a good point, but very few people think Lara can win, and if you're GGGs team, you don't want to risk his window to fight the other champs to close.

For example, Andy Lee was willing to unify, but then he loses, and Saunders didn't want to unify until now, but if it doesn't happen now, the next guy to beat him might not want GGG right after. Not everyone has Lemiuex braveness.

Wow 2 losses, and very VERY controversial ones at that, is the end for fighters these days. And then some of you cry about the importance of the "0"

anyway the "best" at 154 is daring to be great and wants to fight the "best" at 160 so yeah "best fighting the best" IMO
