Also if the fight does get made (doubtful) it should be 50/50. I wonder now that Pac is achieving ppv popularity whether he'd hang around a couple more years to rake it in. Seems kind of silly to be contemplating retirement just as you're achieving ppv success?

      copied from a news article.

With each buy costing $54.95, Pacquiao-Margarito PPV hits of 1.5-million translate to $82 million.

From total PPV sales, Pacquiao stands to get about 12.5 percent of the projected $82-million amount, or $10 million.

like ive said. COMMON SENSE. the same explanation why Floyd made $40M with 1.4M PPV buys. International PPV's/Revenue is a guaranteed bigger than Mayweather/Mosley fight. you want to argue with that too?

            i didnt argue with anything.

but international ppv for mannys fights is very low. very low.

you are forgetting that the gate revenue for mayweathers fight was much bigger than for manny fight.

you are forgetting that arum gets a big cut of mannys purse but nobody takes that big promoters cut from floyds (gbp is fee-based)

you are accusing other people of not having common sense. but it seems like you may not have all the facts

if Manny/Marg would hit more PPV buys than Floyd/Mosley in AMERICA do u honestly think Floyd/Mosley would outsold Manny/Marg in international PPV?

how much more gate revenues Floyd/Mosley did? when you say Manny's fight in international ppv was very very low, where do you put floyd/mosley there? Arum cut from Manny's purse has been the same.

you talking about the FACTS? FLoyd $40 Million he made against Mosley was before taxes, trainers fee, promoters fee etc etc so dont give me the Arums cut from Manny's purse ARGUMENT!

LOS ANGELES — Manny Pacquiao has been asured of getting over a billion pesos after early tracking figures showed he can get an additional $10 million from pay-per-view sales from his action-packed win over Antonio Margarito.

Estimates showed that the fight may have registered between 1.4 million to 1.5 million buys, his promoter Bob Arum said on Tuesday.

Pacquiao had been guaranteed a paycheck of $15 million and add the $10 million from PPV, that would add up to $25 million or about P1.075 billion at P43 per 1 US dollar.

“I am very pleased,” said Arum over the phone from his Las Vegas office.

“Numbers say we’re going to hit (between) 1.4 million to 1.5 million buys,” said Pacquiao’s adviser Mike Koncz.

Pacquiao’s previous best in PPV sales was posted when he beat up the legendary Oscar De La Hoya in December, 2008, a match that generated 1.4 million buys.

Koncz said the public’s never-ending craving for Pacquiao, the intrigue that surrounded his turbulent training camp in the Philippines, the style of the two fighters and him being a congressman, were the reasons why there was a surge in PPV sales.

“People wanted to know how Manny would handle boxing and being a congressman at the same time,” said Koncz.

While the PPV sales were phenomenal, the gate attendance at the venue that was reconfigured to accommodate 70,000 did not live up to its lofty billing after only 41,734 trooped there.

                  that is freaking great!
                  good job pack!

This article is bs then, pacs minimum guarantee vs cotto was 12m, he made around 18m for that fight, his minimum guarantee now which arum has said 2 times already is 15m

he will easily make 20-25m for this fight
