I may have been hasty by picking a KO victory, if Vitali couldn't then Adamek probably won't. But i still don't see any reason why Adamek can't get a decision, in terms of boxing skills Adamek is way higher, Arreola is sloppy in what he does and just tries to win out of brute force and pressure, he has no plan b. He's been knocked down by worse opponents too.

Though he is younger (not by much) and he is a lot bigger so i can see how people will think he can win. I just think if Adamek boxes him then he won't have too much trouble.

Adamek has the skills to beat Arreola, but I don't see him doing so. With a fighter like Arreola, who had a lengthy amateur tenure and is has 10x a punchers chance I see him putting Adamek out, sending him back down to his weight class. Arreola via 7th round KO.

this is a good bouts. they have all got power, i have to review their fight then i will make the predictions. although arreolla is bigger and taller but we cant under estimate adamek power. arreolla is a bit slower than adam is a bit faster.

I can't help but be reminded a little bit of Jirov-Moore with this one. Not sure how accurate that is, particularly in that Moore was well past his prime at the time, but then he was also a much better skilled fighter than Arreola as well. In any case, you had a former Cruiserweight champ (and incidentally Eastern European fighter) stepping up against a (by that time) quite larger man. One thing to note though is Adamek seems to take less shots than Jirov, whereas Arreola probably has better power though less skills than Moore.

Just my take anyways.

Exactly. There's a slim chance Adamek may win a decision, but Arreola's boxing skills are good enough to enable him to connect sooner or later. Arreola isn't an unskilled brawler, he's a boxer-puncher.
