Usian Bolt has no aerobic fitness

Does this affect his anaerobic fitness levels? No! you do some aerobic training because it's involved 30% in boxing. Usian Bolt would not be good running 800m, this does not affect his sprinting. Please do one, I get so many message about how insane and random your posts are.

Saying running makes you 'tough' for boxing is kind of like saying it will also cure your fear of heights, two completely different things.

Regarding the sprints vs long distance issue it massively depends on the amount of rounds and time you're fighting. For amateur boxers fighting 3x2 minute rounds you want to base most of your training (including bags, pad work, sparring and running) on shorter more explosive rounds. If you're a pro and fighting like 8+ rounds, obviously you'll want to start making it more aerobic based.

      Hope this helps
