That may well have ended up as the most boring fight of all time

"Mayweather has mentioned that he'd rather jump to 154 and fight Winky Wright than fight Margarito," Diaz said. "He says it's a better loss to lose against Winky Wright than it is to Antonio."

Ummm, maybe because Winky Wright is a better fighter than Margarito? If you're gonna move up from 140 for greatness, might as well try to fight the better fighter at the higher weight.

But, I don;t see how any of this matters though. These are negotiations, from like 3,000 years ago, of a fight that did not happen.

Just a little social experiment my dude. Once again pointing out people's bull****.

Manny is ducking Sergio Martinez, the lineal MW champion. Floyd ducked Winky Wright, the MW champion... and wanted to impose a same day weigh-in, and put an 8 lb cap on rehydration.

Just want to see how many people who agree with the first statement agree with the second.

For the record, I don't (as most reasonable people) consider a 140-lber not fighting a 160-lber to be 'ducking', even with all those weight restrictions. The only time we've seen something similar happen recently was when Oscar came down from 150 to 147 and cherry-picked a guy who had been fighting at 130 just 9 months earlier.

Winky Wright was actually the Jr Middleweight Champion, which he won when he beat Shane.

How you make a thread about "Floyd ducked Winky".

and post an article, and bold:

"Remember, Floyd called Winky out; Winky didn't call Floyd out," Shaw said. "We were even willing to come down in weight to 154."

Yeah, he called him out... then when Winky accepted Floyd's demands, weight restrictions and all, he priced himself out. Sounds eerily familiar for some reason...

Notice the quote where Shaw says Mayweather never really wanted the fight, as was proven.

Hmmmm, could've sworn Floyd made the decisions on issues such as money, split, etc and Arum was just his representative. You saying Floyd was just an Arum puppet, a house negro, who didn't make his own decisions?

                    Fine.

Manny Pacquiao is ducking the lineal MW champion of the world. Floyd Mayweather ducked the Jr. MW champion of the world.

                    Happy?
