What mega fights? GBP already had working pieces to make mega fights, and intriguing match ups for days. The only person that would had made more money would had been Bob Arum because before Oscar even extended his hand(which looks like it's now belong to a beggar), he was desperate and losing money as well as influence considerably.

You are exaggerating saying showcase bin fights, you know for two years straight GBP was putting on the best fights, no competition. Top Rank recycled guys, didn't really develop any personalities and just put blocks on building a bridge with the other big promoter. Even HBO who decided it was best sticking with them is not the same or the most exciting boxing network anymore. Even though Terence Crawford and Gamboa fights the weekend after next, everyone is still more intrigued with the card this weekend more. It's more stacked. As well as the July Card with Canelo... You definitely exaggerating describing the fights as that.

Look at how desperate Bob is trying to find manny a viable fight and still haven't extend his hand to Oscar...
