That's the truth. Only trying to figure out why this guy thinks a win over Berto makes Guerrero more deserving than Canelo at a Mayweather shot.

Berto was a hypejob before he got beat by Ortiz and was even worse after a long layoff and a scandal.

Guerrero had a long layoff and moved up two weight classes and beat two guys considered to be top 10 WWs. What would you have him do? He does not decide who is ranked in the top 10. Not many people expected him to be able to take Berto's power let alone bully him given Berto's weight advantage and experience at 147. It also wasn't as if Berto and Aydin were complete bums.

There was talk of Guerrero-Bradley, but the promotional dispute may have prevented that, so who do ou think he should have taken on at 147 to prove himself worthy?

        Worthy of a Mayweather?

Maybe he should've fought Ortiz. The guy who beat Berto who then lost to Lopez who then lost to Canelo.

It's okay though. Beating Berto definitely made him more deserving than Canelo.

Ortiz isn't even returning until April or May, so I doubt this fight would have been made. Would his jaw even have been completely healed? It also wasn't as if Ortiz completely dominated Berto.

Ortiz is another fighter who typically outweighs his opponents greatly.

Trout beats Cotto with a huge size advantage and its a great win but if Floyd has any advantage, the win means nithing. He's so good that he has to take fights with all disadvantages or its not a hard fight. he is the omly guy held to that standard. no one even cares about his times off or jail time. he has to fight all huge guys in his 5th weight class who have nearly 15 pounds on him in the ring an more rhan that naturally or he's not challenging himself.

            its a joke
Floyd is criticized for doing stuff like avoiding Margarito and jumping up like he big and bad to fight Marquez. And since when has Floyd taken a fight where he had a perceived speed/size disadvantage? A jail bound Corrales. He's held to that standard because he claims to be THE GREATEST EVER. Well the GOATs of the world take on all challengers buddy. Sheeid at least Cotto CHALLENGED himself in fighting Trout. You can bet your last money Floyd won't go NEAR Trout.

I bet you if Cory Spinks had gotten the decision against Jermain Taylor, Floyd woulda did everything in his power to fight Jinx...AND he would requested 155.

Floyd's a joke and you keep showing up laughing at the punchline.

Continuing to cherry pick like he usually does. Greatest at cherry picking there will ever be, rather than the greatest fighter. He will fight whoever he has studied the most and who he thinks he knows the best.

THere is a reason he will never fight often, just cant decide who he wants to face. Its takes forever and a age to see Floyd fight.

That's it there. Canelo may likely be the next one in line.

Gives Guerrero sufficient time to tweak his arsenal if he's next.

Given Guerreros background story....its good vs evil in this fight. With Espn being involved and a 24/7 this is going to be a big fight. I still feel Canelo is too big and too dangerous of a fight and so is Sergio. But....will we see Mayweather vs Alvarez and Sergio vs Chavez Jr 2 on the same day competing on PPV in September?
