the regular belt just means he's the # 1 contender & now his mandatory is rahman. that fight will happen & holyfield may have been ringside but he is signed to fight botha again oct 22.if he wins again then evander may get a voluntary shot.

After his vulnerability showed when he was stunned by Chagaev in todays fight, a lot of boxers will want a shot at Povetkin.

He'll be like a promiscious woman in a small town: everybody will want a crack at him because they think he's easy.

      Rahman, Holyfield...

And I think Bernard Hopkins and Antonio Tarver will want to improve their legacy with a HW belt.

David Haye was probably licking his chops when he saw how easy Povetkin was to hit. Watch for him to come out of his so-called "retirement" and try and secure a shot at Povetkin.

Anyone who has the wba belt while there is also a super champion isn't really a legit champion in my eyes.

Anybody with half a brain knows Wladimir Klitschko is the WBA champion.

Not a world champion. Just a WBA regular champion. A worthless title in a world full of devalued champions. Worthless to everybody but the WBA.

Povetkin barely beat a rusty Chagaev. Liakhovich would have destroyed him if they had been fighting instead last night. Povetkin is a pretender.

He is a "regular" champion, which is about as legitimate a title claim as Ray Austin recent WBC USNBC title.

The WBA has disgraced itself with their treatment of the WBA heavyweight title in recent years.

Emmanuel Steward said the WBA is a disgrace for having more than one champion.

He says the casual fans are already confused and turned off by all the different sanctioning organizations.

Having 4 (5 imo - the IBO does things a lot better than most, so why exclude it?) belts is stupid, then when each of those belts gets split you could easily end up with 6 or 7 "champions" per division. Absolute madness.
