Lineal champion does not equal Ring champion or vice versa

    I doubt that there is even 1 true Linear Champion left. The man who beat the man, who beat the man, etc. It would be a considerable challenge to trace every title back to the last Linear Champion, or maybe not. Lets see.

      Pongsaklek Wonjongkam is. The lineal title at flyweight dates back to Canto in the 70s.

        I always considered the lineal champion, either the "man who beat the man" or undisputed champion if the man retires.. going by that lineage died with Lennox Lewis, neither of the Klitchkos have ever been the undisputed champion and probably never will (since they wont fight each other)..
