Probably because they didn't tell him. That was the point of random tests.

However, Mayweather denied Pacquiao of a 14-day cutoff date during negotiations for a future bout.
Why did Mayweather accept an 18 day cutoff date for Mosley but not 14 days for Pacquiao?
My man, this is old ground and you have your facts mixed up. Pacquiao wasn't denied a 14 day cut off, he was offered o e and wouldn't accept. See his famous interview (morenlike a Fred Astaire tap dance without the finesse) with Brian Kenny, where he mumbles that 15 days was too close and he'd be in hard training and it would affect him (after he tried stating he gave blood on the day of the Morales I fight which was why he lost, only to have to back up when pressed).

I don't know for cetain what was agreed between Mayweather and Mosley but Mosley agreed to whatever was asked and we got a fight.

          Lots misinformation here.

This is what happened late '09-early '10.

Roach said "Lol, we'd take any test."

Floyd said OST, 50-50. Pac said yes 50-50, no OST.

Pac agrees to OST, with 30 day cut off.

              Floyd says no cut off.

Arum asks to go half way.

Floyd say 14 day cut off.

Arum said Floyd wouldn't budge and did not offer 14 day cut off.

Mediator says 14 day cut off was offered.

Arum, put on the spot, admitted it was offered but he did not accept.

              That's it.

MY GOD! Is the word, RANDOM really too difficult for so many to understand???

If it is RANDOM, then how would he know to call off the fight, even if he wanted to? It could be held on any day leading to the fight. That is the deterrent. You don't know when it might be....GET IT??!!!

Now ask yourself this? Why didn't Pac want to do Random testing and actually wanted to know before hand when he would be tested?
